Boots n BBQ a major success
Guests enjoyed a boot scootin' good time at the annual Boots N BBQ fundraiser held by the Commerce Schools Educational Enrichment Foundation April 16 at CHS. Organizers said attendance and contributions exceeded expectations with over 120 people attending and over $16,000 pledged.

Teachers showcased results of their winning grants including the annual trip to Austin for fourth graders and second graders traveling to the Dallas World Aquarium. Fifth grade students entertained with a recorder concert and a video highlighting student work with grant projects.
